Business development manager - united kingdom, carluke, south lanarkshire

we have an opportunity for an individual who thrives at business development and is passionate about the environment and wants to help transform the way scotland, and in particular the aggregate and construction industry, view recycled aggregate products.

as the business development manager, you will leverage this passion along with your proven track record of selling to successfully introduce our products to both new and existing customers.

you will be working within the commercial team to promote a range of recycled aggregate products produced by levenseat's newly established minerals division. this role will have the key responsibility to manage business growth of the company's product portfolio including identifying new markets, creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities, building relationships with existing customers and driving sales.

key duties & responsibilities:

sales & marketing

carry out market research to identify key markets for the company's product rangeexpand, develop and drive sales and promote the company's products range across the markets identified.work with others in the commercial and communications teams to create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.identify sales leads and negotiate and convert prospects into won opportunitiesprepare, maintain, and provide up to date sales forecasts and performance reports as requests and to agreed deadlines.manage the company's pipeline and planning for the product rangecommunicate new product developments to prospective and existing clientsattend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote the company products, raise the company's profile and build on relationships with industry partnerscollaborate with the communications team on marketing materials and the digital marketing strategydevelop the products business by forming strategic partnerships with existing and new key contacts within the construction and aggregates industry. staying up to date with the latest market trends to be a source of knowledge and expert in the field.customer care

build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers so that levenseat are the number one choice for the customer.work with the sales and customer service co-ordinator to ensure a seamless customer on-boarding experience.maintain contact with customer throughout the customer journey including post product delivery to support follow up projects and gain feedback on the customers overall experience. use this feedback to help improve the customer experience and make recommendations for future product developments.support customer relations by dealing with any requests, comments and concerns in line with our customer care policyresource management
