objective of the production operative role:

to operate machinery
to be trained to a high standard of competence and safety
to maintain a high standard of housekeeping
to perform quality checks and record correctly the results

24/7 operating 5 shift rotation working an average of 147, 12hr shifts per year, av. 33.7 hours per week

requirements

some computer skills are essential, basic it skills & microsoft office use

excellent problem-solving ability
good communication skills

forklift truck driving license experience

experience of working in a high volume fmcg manufacturing environment
experience of operating high technology automated manufacturing machines
mechanical or maintenance background
ipaf license
a health and safety qualification such as iosh managing safely
