we are recruiting a administrative care assistant for a part time role which may become full time to join the team at best care 4 u in stanmore. best care 4 u is a domiciliary care agency offering the highest quality personal care and support to the elderly in the comfort of their own home with dignity and independence.
job description: to support and manage a team of care workers
to maintain confidentiality at all times
to be the main point of contact to both service users and care workers.
building up care plans and auditing mar charts
to assist the team in ensuring an excellent quality service is supplied at all times
you will need to ensure that electronic records of care workers are up to date.
to ensure that all telephones/email correspondence are dealt with promptly in a polite and respectful manner
you will be required to do reviews and supervisions
to take part in the on call (emergency out of hours service)
to report and support other members of team, including the registered manager
to maintain compliance in line with a legislative and company requirements

requirements
have a minimum of 2-5 years experience within the health care industry at a senior/supervisor level or have a care background and experience in care coordinating within a busy domiciliary environment.
be computer literate and have knowledge of care management softwaremust understand the cqc requirements and standards
be able to work efficiently in a high paced environment. have excellent administrative and communication skills
be dedicated to delivering exceptional service on behalf of the company internally and externally. maintenance of service users care plans and administration files.
be flexible and reliable. possess excellent people management skillsbe an effective team player. have access to your own transport but not necessary. minimum of nvq level 2 in health & social carehave previous experience within a home care / domiciliary care company
have previous experience as a care coordinator.have excellent skills of ms office, word, excel & outlook
passion for delivering high levels of care
good numeracy & literacy skills
a warm & friendly disposition
good communication skills and able to put others at ease
reliable & punctual
willingness to develop new skills (nvq3)
a clean driving licence but not necessary
