our client is on the hunt for an experienced house manager for their beautiful property in suffolk.
you will be responsible for managing the daily upkeep of the home and leading the operational team of households with the objective to maximise efficiency and to achieve the highest of standards. you will be accountable for the day-to-day smooth running of all areas whilst overseeing and motivating the household team.
your responsibilities will include engaging with and overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliers, and ensuring that their work is completed to satisfaction. you will be responsible for ensuring that any maintenance issues are brought to the owner’s attention, for the care of all household guests and visitors including overseeing staff training and development. you should be happy to provide and serve light refreshments to the guests. you will also be responsible for purchasing goods for the household.
you must hold a valid uk driving license.
this is a live in position - you will be provided with a lovely two bed cottage.
hours: 9am-6pm, monday to friday (flexibility needed)
salary: very competitive
