Disability support worker for child - united kingdom, wallasey, merseyside
the hours of work:
6-14 hours per week, shifts are 7:30-9am &/or 3pm-8pm in term time
additional hours during school holidays during the day.
occasional later evenings and days at the weekend.
the role:
working within the family home and out in the community.
ensure the safeguarding of child underpins every decision made.
to work within the care plan in looking after him.
to deliver appropriate therapies in order to reach full potential for this little boy.
all aspects of personal care, feeding and medication
play and fun is important to the child and family.
to form effective relationships with the child and his family.
to ensure the workplace is kept clean and in a tidy condition
requirements:
previous experience of working with children with disability is preferable. training will be given regarding personalised care.
previous care work or working in a school or nursery environment essential
full driving licence desirable
