responsibilities for this qc inspector position include, but are not limited to:
inspects samples using appropriate methods, comparing product to company standards and specification
verifies that the assembly or production line meet standards and procedures, complying with company and legal requirements
uses blueprints and order specifications to compare to produced goods
records inspection results including summarizing re-works, product waste and input data into database
assist in training the production team on quality control measures to improve product
monitors the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and reports any that do not meet requirements
keeps measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
to be considered for this qc inspector position, you:
must have good written and verbal communication skills
must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
keen attention to detail
basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices
blueprint reading capabilities
documentation and reporting skills
teamwork and collaboration
comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
must be bilingual (english/spanish)
