to provide industry support in the day to day running of a busy bonded facility. required to deliver overall guidance to raf warehouse personnel & ensure that full compliance as defined by hmrc legislation is strictly adhered to.

interacts with internal on significant supply chain/logistics matters often requiring

coordination between departments.

liaise with customs compliance and raf warehouse personnel as appropriate to facilitate improvements to the processes.

ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, including digitised management, paperless opportunities, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.

manages global spares pool inventory levels through analysis and operations.

provide sme guidance on logistic information and supply chain matters to the cwh team.

liaise with cwh manager regarding manning levels.

ensure strict security measures are enforced & access restricted to authorised personnel throughout all cwh areas, including offices.

supply and movements, transportation and warehousing

relevant leadership experience in a logistics staff role on an aircraft ipt within the dlo

intimate knowledge of military supply practices, procedures and associated information systems

experience of front-line and deployed aircraft operations

experience in the management and deployment of logistics information systems

excellent verbal and written communication skills

proficient in ms office suite of programs and commercial asset management it solutions. especailly excel

competence in the use of process mapping tools and the associated principles and practices of process mapping
