Store merchandiser - united states, charleston (south carolina)
here’s your chance to work for one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies in the world. adecco is hiring immediately for merchandisers at a local client in charleston, sc. in this role, you will be responsible for product merchandising within large volume stores.
responsibilities:
merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
transport products to and from backroom to shelf location
use equipment to transport products (e.g., u boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
build customer relationships at the store level
service accounts during designated times established by management
use handheld devices to write/input orders
requirements:
must be 18+ years old
high school diploma or ged required
must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
valid driver's license and proof of insurance
experience working for a retail business or grocery store preferred
experience moving products within a store, merchandising products, and managing stock room inventory preferred
consistent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
ability to stand and/or walk for the entire shift
ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
