Credit controller & accounts assistant - united kingdom, newhaven, east sussex
salary displayed is for part time, 3 days a week.

the successful candidate will work within this company's finance team at their newhaven site.
you will have worked within an accounts department, preferably with some credit control experience.
your responsibilities will include:
- checking customers' credit and approving or denying it, based on the company's standards
- checking customer portals that invoices have been generated and approved internally
- maintaining accurate records
- implementing changes in the company's credit control system resulting from it upgrades
- checking and chasing information through email & the erp system
- other accounting duties associated with the time & attendance system / weekly payroll
you will have:
- at least 3 years experience within an accounts department
- proficiency in msoffice including excel
- good written and verbal communication skills
- good analytical and problem-solving skills
- attention to detail
audit experience is desirable
