i am working on behalf of a client, brian mcphillips limited who is looking for a full-time joiner (39hrs per week) with a minimum of 2 years joinery experience (post completion of apprenticeship) in the domestic/private market to join their friendly, hardworking team.

brian mcphillips limited is an expanding, family run, building company that has been established for over 40 years. they specialise in one-off new build houses for private clients, building bespoke extensions and carrying out renovations to existing properties. each project they undertake is as a main contractor, taking responsibility for projects from the ground works through to completion. they do not work as a subcontractor, which means they create a strong attention to detail and ownership of every project, making sure all team members are invested in the final outcome of the project. they also undertake restoration, loft conversions and all other related work when required.

the ideal candidate will be required to:

possess first and second fix joinery skills.
be happy to ‘muck-in’ with other tasks when required.
work efficiently and effectively in a team, yet be proactive while working alone.
ensure that tasks are completed correctly ‘first time’ and to a high standard.
communicate effectively with colleagues, management and customers.
be trustworthy and polite.
strive for excellence.
