apples & pears is an independent, family owned cocktail bar at the lower end of brick lane. we are looking for an experienced cocktail bartender to join our small team.
we're looking for someone who loves working in bars, takes pride in the drinks they produce, loves working with people and is professional.
applicants should have as a minimum:
- at least 6 months experience of cocktail bartending.
- the right to work in the uk.
- an excellent knowledge of classic cocktails.
- can work every friday and saturday evening.
- have experience in working in a busy bar environment (this is crucial for the weekends).
- a high level of speed and technical ability to deal with the demand of a long shift.
- excellent customer service skills.
- a good level of spoken english.
in return, we are offering to the right candidate:
- a 4 day working week, wednesday to saturday, a total of 35.5 hours per week. this position will suit someone who wants to work more flexibly.
- the salary is £20,767.5 and this is reviewed every 6 months based on business performance.
- we offer a company pension, fortnightly pay and 28 days holiday leave, which includes time off at christmas.
