responsibilities for this production worker include, but are not limited to:
review batch records, assure information is correct and accurate, verifying materials are correct with correct quantities to produce batch needed and activities to consume are done correctly.
may assist in some weighing and product changing activities as needed
monitor the operation and verify that activities are performed correctly to ensure adherence to batch record.
weigh out partial portions of raw materials per master manufacturing records. print inventory tags for partials weights for jobs. weigh components to ensure correct weight is in container.
use computerized interface to review and enter data.
assist in staging and verification of components to ensure correct addition of materials (lot number, item number, weights, etc.) into processing equipment.
maintain routine documentation such as batch reports.
operate scanners, scales, and barcode equipment.
perform all duties in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices.
to be considered for this production worker position, you:
must have a high school diploma or ged
6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment, production machine operator or similar
must be able to read and write in english
must be able to physically stand for the full shift, and regularly lift up to 30lb
pull/push large containers of product and use pallet jacks as necessary
pushing and pull of material on wheels or with pallet jack up to 400 pounds
must be able to work a variable 12-hour shift, 6 pm-6:30 am or 6 am – 6:30 pm
what's in this for you?
pay rate $17/hr. or $18hr., depending on shift
