adecco search is seeking a project engineer/manager for a well-established manufacturer based in milton, vt. the project engineer/manager is the liaison between the engineering team, sales team, and the customer. qualified candidates will have experience preparing proposals, monitoring project progress, and building relationships with customers. our client offers a beautiful state of the art facility, great medical benefits package, 401k company contribution up to 10%, and endless growth opportunities.
responsibilities:
this role is responsible for supporting customers and the sales team by managing projects from initial opportunity review through shipment. project engineers are accountable for making accurate product recommendations based on application, preparing quotations, translating customer requirements, and monitoring the project progress through the facility. this role involves routine interface with customers, sales, design, scheduling and manufacturing and thus requires a highly motivated candidate who is customer-focused with strong project management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
qualifications:
the ideal candidate has a strong sense of accountability, is detail oriented, and exhibits a commitment to excellence.
• bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or plastics engineering (or equivalent work experience)
• strong organization, project management, and customer-centric communication skills
preferred qualifications:
• experience with injection molding processing technology or mold assembly/design
• hot runner design experience
