creative studio assistant job description:
-support the creative studio director for outlet leather goods channel
-attend all design and development meetings in a supportive role
-partner with the team’s cad designer to help build all visual design decks and update existing decks or documents as needed
-assist in communication of creating and organizing handbag cads
-sit in on color palette meetings and build all physical color palettes
-organize and prep materials needed prior to milestone meetings
-assist director in maintaining and driving cross-functional team communication. main cross-functional partners include art department, raw materials team, product development, merchandising, technical design, hardware design.
-facilitate communication between leather goods design and cross-category design teams
qualifications / competencies:
-interest in handbag design, construction, materials, and color
-strong written and verbal communication skills
-must be organized
-ability to multi-task and prioritize well
-ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically
-proficient in adobe illustrator, photoshop, excel
