adecco is hiring immediately for a lead communications specialist with a local client in dublin, ca. the lead communications specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining internal communications for stores and field leadership with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of communication projects. a successful lead is a passionate advocate for the field and their success and uses that passion as a lens through which communication strategy is developed and implemented. the lead is also responsible for managing more complex, high scope communications projects, and serving as a leader amongst the store communications team. starting pay is $45.00/hr.

 

job duties:

creates, reviews, edits, and improves content for all written communications to meet the needs of various departments within the company

develops strong relationships with field partners and leverages those relationships to ensure communications are high impact and relevant

develops and implements communication strategies that support business partner needs and effectively inform field and store audiences

works cross-functionally with various business partner teams; acts as a liaison between the field and corporate departments

holds business partners accountable for providing appropriate content and adhering to communications timelines and overall strategy

supports event planning and execution for annual field leadership meetings

designs and produces quality written and visual communications to meet the needs of the operations group

prepares and publishes all types of communication for all stores

manages assigned projects to ensure that internal procedures such as schedules, proof readings, printing approvals, and job archiving have been properly completed

maintains documentation updates with indexing and tracking systems

maintains calendars for milestones and releases for annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly communications

supports content creation for news and initiatives articles on the store portal site including regular maintenance of reference materials and the overall site to ensure accuracy of information

proposes communications solutions to senior management effectively

acts as a leader among the store communications team, assisting with leading weekly meetings, and approving communication when requested by the manager or director of store communications

requirements:

bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field

5+ years of related experience

ability to interact professionally and effectively present information to all levels within the team and organization

strong project management history: proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously while managing shifting priorities and delivering quality results

advanced pc skills, microsoft office applications, publisher, adobe suite; experience with sharepoint and task management software is a plus

enthusiastic, positive, creative, self-motivated, open to feedback
