Technician / assembly fitter - united kingdom, chippenham, wiltshire
as technician / assembly fitter you will be primarily repairing pre-used cnc driven tooling or building new tooling. repairing driven tooling will consist of stripping the tool, accessing / checking for wear or damage then rebuilding after any work is completed with new bearings etc. new tooling will require assembling from a g.a.
general duties are flexible including manufacturing simple parts.
as technician / assembly fitter you will have relevant mechanical engineering skills e.g. apprenticeship or previous experience with assembly / build / mechanical work, and be able to work independently to problem solve and act on your own initiative. we appreciate certain amount of training will be required.
from £25,000 per year depending on experience
working week is 34.5 hours 7.30 – 3.30 mon-thu, 7.30 – 12.00 fri
20 days holiday plus christmas shut down and all other bank holidays
