Customer service rep - united states, north kingstown

the customer service associate i & ii (csa) is responsible for supporting the comany's day-to-day operations by managing orders to the warehouse and managing a majority of the interactions between the warehouse, other departments and the end-customers. under general supervision, this position is responsible for allocating orders, releasing work to warehouse floor, balancing workflow, and ensuring inbound and outbound truck turn times are within acceptable levels. the csa may also maintain dispatcher duties, working with the shipping & receiving department to coordinate scheduled and non-scheduled deliveries and pick-ups for a small fleet of company trucks. the csa is critical to ensure the company delivers a high quality and reliable service to our customers while maintaining successful customer relationships. the csa has a thorough understanding of our overall supply chain model, the services we provide and the value-add to customers and uses that expertise to support day-to-day customer and operational needs. they will be able to successfully manage multiple customer accounts and a high volume of emails and follow-up calls to customers. the csa will also work with management and other stakeholders to define, standardize and achieve “best practices” within their functional areas.
