the customer services team are responsible for meeting each individual customer's needs whilst being responsive and empathetic, offering guidance and expert advice - and we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced customer services team leader or supervisor to join the team as assistant manager.

as the assistant manager, you'll use your extensive experience and knowledge to nurture and develop the customer services team.

in this role, your duties would include:

work with the data specialists and customer services manager to ensure the customer service team is appropriately resourcedensure the customer services team is trained and coached to deliver consistent customer excellencework with the customer services manager to champion a customer centric focus, engaging and developing relationships with key decision makers across the groupimplement productivity levels and ensure they meet customer sla's and customer needswork with the customer services manager to implement appropriate standards of quality, processes and experience for our customers across multiple touchpointsestablish and distribute bi-weekly customer kpi's and present this to the management team, communicating customer impactsadditionally, you'll be instrumental in team management to ensure personal development and growth of individuals. you'll be able to use your prior experience to:

conduct monthly 1:1's, weekly team meetings and quarterly reviewsmonitor team and individual kpis, regularly reporting results to the customer services managermanaging day-to-day resource within the team to ensure the department is adequately resourcedproviding support and guidance to the team in all elements of their roles as neededwe welcome applications from candidates with any of the following skills oor attributes: customer service, call centre, communication, contact centre, customer service executive, assistant manager, manager, customer service advisor, telephony, email, customer facing, compliance, gdpr, inbound, it literate

essential skillsa passion for providing exceptional customer serviceat least 3 years' leading a customer facing experienceproven experience of customer service kpi reporting and analysis to identify improvement opportunities and potential issuesexcellent conversational skillsexperience of working within a high pace, and high-pressure environment, whilst maintaining an extremely high level of customer servicea resilient individual, able to work flexibly to accommodate changing work priorities through periods of transformationdesirable skillsexperience working with self-employed operatives would be an added benefit but by no means essentialexperience working within the financial services industry, construction industry or logistics industry may be helpfulabout companyare you in-sync?
