adecco is currently seeking a manufacturing operator for a local client
responsibilities
assemble metal components of various gauges and dimensions and spot weld for stress and position, according to design specifications and company quality standards using a resistance spot welder.
operate a variety of metal fabrication equipment to cut, bend, shape, and form metal parts according to design specifications and quality standards
responsible for keeping machines in good working condition by performing daily routine maintenance checks as required
reads and interprets product specifications, bill of materials, blueprints and production schedules
periodically stress test welds
maintains and orders parts as required
makes minor adjustments to parts such as bending, cutting, grinding, and polishing welds
makes adjustments to the spot welder as needed
completes daily tracking sheets
minimum requirements/qualifications
high school diploma, ged or equivalent required
at least 1 year of manufacturing experience
ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds
schedule: full time, 2nd shift
public transportation: none
driving instructions: off of merrimon ave
type of assignment: 12 months temp-to-perm opportunity
