Pathways ranger - united kingdom, bristol city centre, bristol
based in bristol with ongoing local authority and cycling organisation contracts. i am looking for part time help in looking after the cycle and pedestrian paths around the avon area by cutting back hedgerows and verges, litter picking and generally keeping them tidy. the aim of the service is to improve the pedestrian and cycling experience on the paths network.
the work is physically demanding, all outdoors and you will need to work in old clothes! any experience of using strimmers, flails and other gardening equipment a distinct advantage.
this position would suit a north bristol city resident with a driving license, keen on cycling and the outdoors and willing to work from an early start in all weathers on a regular weekday basis all year round up to 20 hours+ per week. full training and equipment supplied.
long term there is a position for a manager/partner to take the business forward.
