Marketing specialist/ product management - united states, nashville

new client in nashville tn, is looking for a marketing specialist/ product management

this person will be responsible for interacting tire bus radial product development and business relationships on behalf of the client to ensure product operation strategy is aligned with business goals.

 

some accountabilities, but not limited to:

provide marketing and sales management with market and product assessment data for planning new product, revitalizing older products, and integrating products and service

establish product development plans & strategies to expand the customer base

obtain current market information and trends, maintaining awareness of competition

implement and monitor all phases of product initiatives and releases, working with sales force on testing results

develop business and marketing plans for assigned product/sales plans and implementation strategies

  • communication/customer presentations & visits:
  • customer technical presentations
  • warehouse, plant and assembler visits
  • review rfq with r&d and lead on ta review provided accurate ta
  • negotiate er with customer and fully understand requirements
  • present technical review to customer
  • ensure all submission and testing timings are met
  • manage new program development projects and provide regular development updates to customer
  • validation and ppap
  • request validation tests
  • assemble validation data book 
  • manage ppap, including approval drawings and all necessary paperwork
  • customer service and quality
  • support oe customer service and quality issues
  • manage quality issues including 8d, 5 why, etc.
  • provide initial quality response within 24 hours
  • core competencies

  • strategical marketing function & skills
  • intermediate microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word etc.)
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong sap knowledge & execution skills
  • must have tbr knowledge
  • qualifications

  • a bachelor's degree required
  • a bachelor's degree relevant to business administration preferred
  • at least 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or related field
  • dental, vision, medical (30 days after start)
