Full time childcare required (live-in or live out) - united kingdom, ellon, aberdeenshire
our busy family of 4 is seeking full-time childcare and house help, either live in or live out. we’re located in the centre of ellon, aberdeenshire.
we have 2 young boys (4m & 3y) and their care will be the primary role during your time with us. mum and dad both work, dad full time and mum part-time however mum is also studying.
the role would ideally be monday – friday 8:00am – 4:30pm our 3 year old attends playgroup 4 days a week for 3 hours, and it will be the duty of our childminder to do drop off and pickup. mum will be working from home so will be available throughout the day for the baby if needed.
we expect the role to be made up of 80% childcare and 20% house help with things such as the children’s laundry, dishwasher etc.
in our family we value fun with activities and imagination play – that’s a firm favourite! we have a flexible routine for each day which we’d work with you to adjust as you see fit. good communication is vital to make sure all parties are happy with the setup we create. the children, the parents and you the carer – if one isn’t happy then it’s unlikely that the rest will be!
mum has previous experience working for families as childcare/house help so expectations set on you will be fair and realistic. we’d also expect the candidate to be committed to the role and routine as stability for the children should always be the priority.
while previous childcare experience is not necessary, it would be a bonus and experience around children is a must!
we’d be happy to consider someone who is studying virtually or through the open university as while we can be flexible on the hours of work.
