single source recruitment are currently recruiting for a sap business analyst on behalf of our client based in coleford. this is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding engineering business.
duties and responsibilities:
* acting as the in-house expert and champion for sap, the sap business analyst will support the sap solution and resolve any sap related queries from all stakeholders across the business.
* playing a major role in the analysis, specification, and design of enhancements to the existing sap solution and the accompanying business processes.
* proactively capturing and managing change requirements.
* the sap business analyst will be an autonomous role, although collaborating with developers and offshore support based in india.
* initially focused on the support and improvement of sap ecc6, the role will then transition to the preparation and migration to sap s4 hana.
* support and troubleshooting of sap problems.
* document, design, test and implement changes to support the continuous improvement of our sap system.
* capturing and managing sap change requirements, translating business requirements into system changes.
* preparation and delivering of workshops to support the continuous improvement and use of our sap system.
* updating of documentation when and where required.
* maintenance of training material and the provision of training to end users as required.
* collaborating with kbl based developers and support functions.
skills and qualifications:
* experience of a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
* understanding of various sap modules, with practical knowledge and experience of mm, pp.
* knowledge and exposure to fi & sd being an advantage.
* experience of writing business requirements and functional system design documentation.
* proven stakeholder engagement skills.
* experience of business process mapping/business process re-engineering desirable.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* consistent approach to working methods and attention to detail.
* ability to communicate and liaise across the business with both technical and non-technical people alike.
