looking to recruit at least one more carer/pa to join a small team providing support and care for a young female adult (kavita) with cerebral palsy.
duties would include all aspects of personal care, accompanying to social activities, supporting kavita to follow a physical activity and exercise program which allows her to maintain a good postural tone, ensuring she is actively participating in activities she enjoys (baking, sports, learning about the world around her), monitoring and ensuring she is comfortable during the night, overseeing her feeding regime (kavita has a balloon gastrostomy and her feed runs through the night), plus any other support that may be required.
night and day shifts are available and the hours are flexible. previous experience of peg feeding preferred but not essential as full training is given.
