objective:

assist the estimating department with required daily tasks. this position will
encompass any needs to support the estimating department.

essential functions
? communicating with trade partner to support our bid process
? review project documents –plans, specs, project manuals, itb’s
? complete documents for estimating needs
? monitor email from bid participants
? support the estimating team with the development of new estimating protocol
? attend calls and meetings for division and project support as needed
? ensure the growth of our subcontractor base
? perform quantity take off as needed
? complete the rfi process
? update estimating project schedules and project tracking
? assist in the preparation of client proposals, sov’s and other rfp documentation
? visit jobsites to develop subcontractor relationships
? oversee jr. estimator functions and training

work environment
this job operates in a clerical office setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

this is a full-time position. days and hours of work are monday through friday, 7:30 - 4:30. evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

required education and experience
associate’s degree
3+ years relative work experience

preferred education and experience
bachelor’s degree
4+ years relative work experience

additional eligibility qualifications
certified professional estimator certification
