an exciting opportunity has arisen for support workers to join our supported living services for individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.

we are looking for kind, genuine, passionate, and caring people who are driven to provide high quality person-centred care in a supported living environment. as a support worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with cqc regulations and the organisation's policies and procedures.

it very important that we support individuals to retain as much of their independence as possible, care is about providing much more than physical needs, it is about the social and emotional support you will be providing by building up a strong and healthy bond with the service users and showing them and others involved in their care that you truly care about them and their lives.

job description

the role involves working with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviours, or complex needs, to undertake daily living activities, access the community and to live an enjoyable, independent life. you will do this by encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe, and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.
