archie’s is a vibrant independent neighbourhood bistro looking to open a second site within 1 year.
our 4-strong kitchen team is looking for a capable chef at cdp to join the team.

cdp duties will involve;
- food preparation, assisting & supervising , running service at cdp level
- deputising for the head chef in their absence
- ordering, stock rotation, spec adherence, kitchen supervision of team
- helping with food prep / juices / general cleanliness, equipment maintenance and hygiene
- maintaining the kitchen's organisation
typical working day:
day hours starting 07:30am finishing around 4pm
work with a small, friendly team in a business popular with the locals
staff outings
30-45hours / week
share of service charge
we are looking for a capable cdp with a positive attitude who want to learn and wants to get involved with all aspects of the business who will have the opportunity to progress quickly.
this is a multi-faceted position requiring both resilience and good people skills. you will need to have:
- experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- be reliable, honest, positive and professional
- be interested in food - our dishes are made from scratch in our kitchen. you will be taught how to make them.
- fluent english
- ability to stay positive under pressure
- be available weekends.
we are essentially a very busy day time brunch cafe / bistro selling quality food; involves production of breakfast / lunch and take-out items.
we need someone who is passionate about food and who wants to improve their culinary and management skills
immediate start for the right candidate
part-time hours: 30 - 40 per week

salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
