summary

• support worker required to work with my 9 year old son

• he has autism and learning delay. he mainly communicates through ecolalia and single words. he is able to make his wants and needs known through actions and gestures.

• he enjoys playing on his mario kart, and likes his teddies.

• he also loves being outdoors, going to the park and beach. these would need to be accessed at quieter times of the day. he has a phobia of dogs.

• he has a lack of danger awareness so will need to be kept safe and supervised at all times.

• support with toileting, changing pads, washing hands required.

• you would be required to take him out to local clubs so he can mix with other children

• he also likes going to the park, mcdonalds and looking at railway crossings

• you should be experienced in working with children with similar needs, friendly and patient

• driver with own car would be preferred but public transport could also be used.

• you will report to me as your employer
