in choosing you to join the elysios team we will proudly position you as a talented elysios hair stylist - colourist and/or cutter with an eye for detail, someone who thrives on being busy and can enjoy being part of our creative and bubbly team.

· trust you will make sure every client has the perfect elysios experience from the moment they enter the salon to when they leave, and as part of our aftercare dialogue when they are not in the salon

as an elysios hair stylist your daily responsibilitieswill range from customer service to technical expertise, with general duties as follows:

1. welcoming customers and ensuring that they’re comfortable - always delivering an outstanding customer service.

2. advising clients on suitable cuts, colours and treatments

3. recommending suitable hair products

4. washing, conditioning, cutting, colouring and styling hair

5. staying up to date with the latest trends, hairstyles and products

6. cleaning workstations and sanitising equipment throughout the day

7. working with a variety of equipment like straighteners, clippers and hot brushes

8. meeting with suppliers and ordering new stock as needed

9. maintaining an adequate inventory of hair products and tools

10. collecting payments from the salon services performed

11. building up your client base and retaining it

12. managing your appointments efficiently and professionally

13. always maintaining an extremely high standard on the salon floor.

14. working and engaging well as a team player.

daily you will need to demonstrate your:

15. reality of you having spent several years on the salon floor learning your craft and being very able to work unsupervised

16. confidence and hands on experience in all aspects of hairdressing: cutting, styling, colouring, barbering, highlights, extensions, hair up, foils etc.

17. ability to carry out bespoke consultations with clients on their needs and advise on anything from hair care to cuts and colours.

18. ability to develop talent at elysios – passing your experience to more junior hairdressing staff members.

19. creative talent and drive to be involved in photoshoots and contributing to the elysios creative art team – with a keen interest in fashion, celebrity and hair trends e.g., balayage

20. formidable sales skills in recommending and selling hair products to clients and encouraging them to rebook - up-selling services, treatments and retail products

21. commercial interest in the overall trading of elysios

22. focus on directly passing your knowledge and skills onto others by becoming an hair trainers at the elysios hair academy
