adecco is assisting an international manufacturer in recruiting for a current machine operator opening in harrisonburg, va. this is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. as a machine operator, you will be responsible for operating machines.
responsibilities for this machine operation job includes, but are not limited to:
perform simple pms on the line
perform line quick verification daily (check list)
ensure proper functioning of the line as per budgeted speed.
help build troubleshooting guides.
troubleshoot the line based on troubleshooting guide whenever available.
ensure quality of the product with end of line verification and scheduled test.
perform adjustments as required.
qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent
detail oriented
ability to stand and work for the full shift
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
must be able to lift up to 50+ lbs.
must be mechanically inclined
must be able to read and understand measuring instruments
must be able to read, write and understand english
perfect attendance is a must!
candidates must have own and/or reliable transportation
mechanical experience a plus
schedule: full-time – 6:00am – 2:00pm
