Bar & restaurant assistant manager - united kingdom, kirkintilloch, glasgow
we are looking for a full time assistant manager to join the team at the golden pheasant in auchinloch. we are situated just outside of lenzie and a mere 15 minutes from glasgow city centre. applicants should have relevant experience in the trade and a personal license. we are a family run business with a lively community bar & a growing food operation. over the last couple of years the area has benefited from the building of a number of new houses, increasing our opportunities for successful trade. we would be keen for applicants to bring their own ideas to the table which could help us improve the overall operation of the business. we are very focused on being part of the local community, using local suppliers & fresh ingredients. applicants must be capable of building good relationships with our current customers & generating repeat custom from first time visitors.
we can be fairly flexible in terms of hours, although we would be looking at a minimum of 35 hours per week. all employees are paid an hourly rate & a fair share of the tips. the hourly rate on offer may vary depending on individual applicants experience and we would be keen to discuss this during an interview.
