Manager - united kingdom, kentish town, london

a new kind of local pub

restaurant quality food and service - but not a stuffy gastro pub.

20 draught lines + speciality can and bottle fridges - but not a hipster craft beer / tap room type place.

independent and low intervention wines by the keg, glass and bottle - but not a trendy wine bar.

i'm looking for experienced managers who want to help grow an ambitious new food and drink project at our exciting first london location. you will need to be motivated by;

growing sales with floor service - attention to detail, and nurturing both 'pub' and 'dining' service
prep and planning - nailing every service before it happens
experience is everything - consistent vibes and a ton of reasons to come back
back & front standards - what the customer doesn't see is as important as what they do see

you also need to be experienced in;

'front line' environments - ie proper pubs or rowdy bars - we need people who know what's about to happen
food service - ie worked in a restaurant or a heavily food-led, quality pub or high-street brand
non-nonsense standards - paperwork, cleaning, stock counts, audits
vibes - lighting, sound, djs and making sure the place feels great at all times

the ideal candidate might be an agm with a solid background, who may like to take a fist gm role with an established and reputable independent firm. this may also be perfect for a supervisor with a great track record and plenty of ambition to step up and make a mark. alternatively this might be great for a proven gm who wants a bit more freedom and creativity than within a current position - but who knows that the core of the job is the basics, delivered consistently, every day, to a professional standard.

cvs please. looking forward to meeting you.
