a well-established national structures business within the construction space that focus mainly on rc frames and steel frame structures.

the role:

as a steel fixer, you will be responsible for:

setting out the work area, following engineering plans using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or meshtying steel reinforcement bars (rebars) to build cagesfitting spacers and chairs (supports)using rebar to build special casts to keep setting concrete in placefixing steel to concrete basesinstalling beams and pre-cast slabs.

about you:

able to work to technical planscomfortable working at heightgood level of physical fitnesshappy to work outdoors in all weathers and in cramped conditions.a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a steel fixerbe able to work in a team or alone.conscious of health & safety
