Customer support advisor - united kingdom, farnham, surrey

working as a customer support advisor for a dynamic, family run business in the centre of farnham, you will be able to showcase your proven customer service/support experience.

as the customer support advisor, your prime focus will be ensuring customer records are kept up to date, handling inbound/outbound calls and responding to customer enquiries via email and webchat.

this is a great opportunity if you are looking to step away from retail/hospitality and wanting to showcase your skillset in an office based environment. hybrid working approach is also available.

key responsibilities:

* ensure customer records are updated accordingly

* to support the marketing team by calling existing customer with offers

* offer the full range of appointments and services to customers

* make customer follow up calls after purchase and non-purchase customer calls

* deal directly with customers by telephone

* book appointments for customers

* promote and offer the best services we have to offer

* respond promptly to customer enquiries

* obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries

* provide pricing information

* record details of inquiries, comments and complaints

* communicate and coordinate with internal departments

* provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

essential skills:

* proven customer service experience

* proficient user of it programmes, ms office etc

* strong numerical, oral and written skills

* ability to communicate well with customers

* clear telephone manner
