the light salon is an award-winning, global led skincare brand, which offers both in-salon and at-home advanced led treatments and products. we are looking for an organised warehouse associate to supervise the receipt, dispatch and storage of goods in our warehouse. located on a picturesque private farm in iden, just outside of rye, east sussex.
what you will be doing:
reporting directly into the operations director - you will be responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to orders and company partnerships and policy, ensuring that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.
to ensure success you need to multitask effectively, be able to communicate with our accounts team and retail partners, proficient on computers, and motivated to work both on your own and as part of a team.
warehouse associate responsibilities:
oversee outbound/ inbound shipping and returns, warehousing and distribution operations
implement operational policies and procedures
ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
maintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of shipping vehicles
oversee deliveries where required
complete monthly stock count
warehouse associate requirements:
2+ years warehouse experience
excellent understanding of warehouse procedures
proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
proficient computer skills
outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
outstanding organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
strong people skills
job type: part-time, fixed-term 6 months

salary £12-£14 per hour dependant on experience
20-25 hours per week – split across 3-4 days
