Procurement project manager - united states, burlington (iowa)

adecco is hiring immediately for procurement project managers with a local client in burlington, ma.  procurement project managers perform essential duties with pay starting at $63.58/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will have the responsibility of planning, procurement and execution of projects, be the 1st point of contact for any issues or discrepancies that arise, and perform other duties as assigned.

 

responsibilities, but not limited to:

responsible for managing supplier enablement end to end

support supplier outreach process and collection of supplier feedback to kick-off questionnaire

initiate supplier program kick-off discussions

schedule and lead cross-functional enablement meetings with supplier and project teams throughout specification sharing, development, and testing activities

maintain project plan

manage test status and produce test report; document and prioritize all testing issues/defects encountered during testing with integrated suppliers

ensure training needs are addressed/issues escalated appropriately

coordinate the identification and setup of relevant master data for development and user acceptance testing (uat)

update supplier training guides based on the vendor/project specific requirements

run supplier training sessions along with sap ariba supplier enablement team

reinforce solution compliance with suppliers and internal department stakeholders

coordinate with functional lead(s)and technical lead(s) during implementation and testing of integrated sellers

support integrated suppliers go live and internal/external communications

coordinate the execution of the supplier enablement cutover activities

requirements:

bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on supply chain or business administration area of study.

5+ years of experience as a project manager

must be 18+ years old

productivity-driven: must work in a fast-paced environment

a track record of detail-oriented job function is preferred
