we are looking for a motivated multi-skilled workshop engineer to join a market leading servicing company. reporting directly to the workshop manager you will be a key member in ensuring the facility is kept running. you will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive service within their operation. with progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. the position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

role description

undertake repair of electric motors, pumps and gearboxes

overhauling a wide variety of pumps, motors, gearboxes

carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and assembly of pumps and other related rotating equipment

adherence to the health and safety protocol

fault-finding on break down equipment

refurbishment of high and low voltage (ac & dc) electric motors and generators

to be available for call out shifts as per call rota - 1 in 5 weekends, paid with call out payment + ot rate on top

skills and qualifications

proven experience within electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes

fault finding and troubleshooting skills

some electrical knowledge (desirable)

computer skills required at basic level
