helicopters. under the new gbp287 million long term training and support services (lttss) contract, boeing will work closely with the british army to provide maintenance and engineering support, supply chain and logistics management at wattisham. boeing will also deliver aircrew and maintainer training from its advanced facility at middle wallop.boeing defence uk is looking for an ils reliability centred maintenance (rcm) engineer (integrated support planning & management) to support the uk ah-64e programme. this is a full-time postition based at our yeovil site with some options for hybrid working once established in the role.boeing defence uk operates an engineering matrix organisation consisting of engineering capabilities that deliver technical skills, expertise and products into our programmes. one of the capabilities is product support engineering (ils engineering) which provides the product supportability infrastructure comprising the following technical areas:logistic support analysisreliability and maintainabilityreliability centred maintenance analysisengineering data exploitationintegrated logistic support engineeringtechnical publicationsthe reliability centred maintenance engineer will support the ah-64e ils lead reporting to the bduk ils manager through the rcm lead.responsibilities:support the establishment of the rcm support for the apache, generation of processes and re-assessment of planssupport the generation, review and assessment of rcm supporting documentationassist in the preparation of material for briefings, meetings and formal working groups (internal and external)carry out rcm analysis as required on apache platform, systems and equipment maintenance schedules to optimise the preventive maintenance burdencarry out any investigation, as detailed, in accordance with current engineering policy, regulations and ordersliaison with systems functions (engineering, technical publications, supply chain management and training) to ensure ils remains informed and aligned with wider bduk developments and progress.liaison with the customer on specific areas of technical servicesassist in coordinating ils deliverables (cdrls) ensuring timely inputs are received, reviewed and the final output is ready for approval and acceptance processhighlight any issues or opportunities within rcm at the earliest possible point and where required support mitigation and development plans for addressing highlighted concernswork as directed by the reliability centred maintenance lead and the bduk ils manager.what we're looking for:a thorough understanding of support engineering in the military environmenta thorough understanding of 4000 series maa rasa proven ability to undertake rcm engineering, previous rcm or msg3 experience and appropriate trainingan understanding and previous experience in r&m / data exploitationan understanding of the derivation and creation of support product documentation.ability to work with the cross functional business stakeholders to identify optimisation opportunities and ways in which suppliers can enhance our offering to our clients.ability to liaise with the oem platform side of boeing to integrate the uk solutions with those that exist on the base platformsproven ability to drive first time quality.essential to be able to obtain uk sc security clearance.preferred:ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering subject (not essential)experience of r&m in an in-service environment is highly desirableexperience in ils in the military environment is highly desirableexperience of working with international support standards such as def stan 00-600, asd/aia suite of s series ils specifications is desirable.experience of managing resource budgets is
