responsible to: general manager

main duties:

assist with day today administration answering calls, dealing with emails and all correspondence.
have a strong knowledge of different it systems and be comfortable operating tills and handling cash.
assist with administration of bookings and liaise closely with catering team.
assist with regular communications to members and guests.
assist the front of house team with day to day enquiries and provide assistance with general mailshots to promote dudsbury golf club products.
reply to email and telephone enquiries.
liaise with golf team on a daily basis.
learn reception and reservations, in order to make golf stays and bookings.
liaise with all other areas as and when necessary to assist in the day to day running of business.
this role will be 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis that will include evening and weekend working.
administer the golf memberships scheme.
assist the golf team, and help monitor and administer green fee revenues, and buggy and driving range revenue.
carry our any other tasks commensurate with this position.

person specification:

-be an organised and excellent administrator with good attention to detail

-have good working knowledge of computer systems word excel, brs an advantage but not essential

·be honest and reliable

·maintain excellent time-keeping and attendance

·be professional at all times

·always be a good team player

·build and maintain good relationships with all team members and with all other

departments within the business

·be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload

·be able to communicate well with people of all levels
