are you a professional housekeeper cook in london looking for a new part-time role?

we are looking for a part-time housekeeper cook to start working for a lovely family of 4 located in chigwell, london (ig7). the main responsibility of the housekeeper will be to maintain the cleanliness of their 4-bedrooms house, assist with laundry and ironing and cook for the family.

the family has two young children (4 & 5 years-old); the successful candidate will be friendly, a self-starter, organized and trustworthy. no travelling or driving is involved. the family employs a cleaner 3 x week and a gardener. no pets.

working schedule: 3 or 4 days per week (25 hours/week). ideally: mon, tue, wed and thu or fri. preferably afternoons – in order to cook dinner, but the family can be flexible with the working days and hours.

starting date: asap

the duties include:

• daily simple cooking such as salads, healthy food, italian etc.

• keep up with cleaning, sweeping, hoovering, dusting

• laundry and ironing

• organising the cupboards, fridge, and pantries

• running errands and grocery shopping

• assist the mother with light childcare

the minimum requirements to apply are:

• previous experience in working for a private family

• cooking skills

• good level of english

• only non-smokers can be considered

• valid dbs check and excellent references required

the salary is £400 gross per week / £20,800 gross per annum. the position comes with pro-rata paid holidays.
