Assistant general manager - united kingdom, west end, edinburgh

an exciting new opportunity for someone looking to progress in a growing company. we are looking for a dynamic, charming, enthusiastic and dependable assistant general manager in dirty dick's - one of the most popular whisky pubs in edinburgh!

as an assistant manager you will support the general manager in all aspects of the business, assuming the responsibility of the site in the general manager's absence. you will ensure all company guidelines are followed, and help co-ordinate, lead and train foh staff.

what are we looking for:

personality: a team player who can lead by example but also knows how to support their teammates and have fun along the way! confident shift leader who can smoothly run busy shifts and is good at problem solving.

experience: an experience in similar role in hospitality industry. good knowledge of whisky, gin and beer. an experience in marketing not required but would be a great bonus!

skills: great customer service skills, good organisation and time keeping, creativity with assigned projects.
