job title/position: out of school play worker

qualification: relevant qualification at svq level 3 in playwork/childcare learning & development or equivalent or experience with the requirement to gain a qualification.

experience: experience in working with children aged 5 – 12 years is essential

hours: 23.25 hrs per week 1.30 – 5.45 monday to thursday and 11.30-5.45 friday. full-time 36.25 hours through holiday periods.

start date asap

salary £12.26 per hour dependant on qualification

we are looking to recruit an experienced and/or fully qualified playworkers for our out of school services.

you will be required to be a supportive and inclusive team member ensuring that a nurturing environment is provided to support each child to play, develop and learn at their own pace to reach their full potential.

you will also be required to promote outdoor play each day, encouraging children to explore a variety of environments around them, using all their senses and imagination in all weather conditions.

you will also be required to build and maintain strong partnerships with parents/carers and external professionals to ensure all children/family’s requirements are met.
