semh & asd ks2 teacher
milestone education are currently recruiting a ks2 send teacher to work within a specialist day school which provides a unique curriculum to semh and asd students. the school is located in south leicestershire.
the school provide specialised integrated education and therapeutic support for ks2 - ks5 students. the school are able to achieve this by utilising their purpose-built facilities and also by the tight knit team of passionate staff that work there. the young people within the school can demonstrate challenging behaviour as well a spectrum of other needs such as anxiety and attachment disorders and adhd, however their small class sized of between 8-10 pupils allows them to ensure each student receives individual support as well as full classroom learning. to be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- qualified teacher status
- experience of working with challenging behaviour.
- experience working with children with additional needs.
- an enhanced dbs on the update service
- driven and enthusiastic personality
