Marketing executive - united kingdom, rochdale, manchester

this company are inviting enthusiastic, experienced individuals to apply for this exciting marketing position in a small, but very busy marketing department.

monday - friday 8.45am - 5.15pm with 30min lunch - 40 hours

25 days paid leave plus bank holidays

they are a group of 4 companies all in the textile and fabrics sector. this role will be based in littleborough, rochdale, but will cover marketing for all companies in the group and mostly marketing for blinds.

mission:

drive sales and develop new business through participation in marketing activity across all group companies. take responsibility of production and management of marketing activity for the blinds sector and their new national online blinds enterprise.

key responsibilities:

- to generate homeowner and commercial leads and appointments to pass on to the sales team by using online and offline marketing activities

- to support and enhance online marketing activities to build ecommerce sales for our national online blinds company. these activities will include managing the online product range, web page design and content management, email marketing, social media marketing and develop online engaging content for seo

- b2b social media including linkedin, facebook, instagram & twitter

- marketing email creation - using force24 and mail chimp to create engaging marketing emails for both b2b and b2c audiences

- creating targeted marketing lists

- writing blogs and content for all of the websites in the group

- helping to keep a track of samples and their usage

- helping with trade shows - preparation for the shows, creating online profiles etc.

- helping to create and own the marketing 'bible' - their internal marketing how-to guide

- liaising with and briefing projects to external agencies, designers and print companies

- some travel may be required with the role

skills & experience:

- educated to degree level in a marketing or business related subject, or a cim qualification

- must be good at writing and creating engaging content for social media and blogs (this will be a key part of the role).

- experience using graphic design packages i,e. adobe suite, photoshop, canva

- knowledge of crm systems

- knowledge of marketing email creation i.e. mailchimp, force24 etc.

- experience in creating, updating / uploading new content to websites

- social media management

- good communication and organisational skills

- a hands on and can do attitude

- attention to detail

- ability to work under pressure and towards kpi's and targets
