family description and location

a professional working single parent to two teenage children aged 15 & 17 are looking for a dog loving domestic couple to come and live with them. they live in a large property in a rural part of hitchin but a 10-minute drive from hitchin station and 24 minutes from central london on the direct train. the house is set in an acres of grounds. alongside her work as a city lawyer, the principal runs a charity which supports women and small teams all over the world involved in animals welfare. she has taken in many rescues herself and provides a sanctuary at her home for 15 dogs many of whom have disabilities but have been rehabilitated. she has a separate dog walker but would ideally like to work towards the domestic couple being able to help with the walks as the principal has 3 acres of land opposite her which is fenced off and where the dogs are walked. the principle works in london 2/3 days per week and would need one of you in the house until she comes home usually tue/wed and thursday timing will depend on client meetings. principal also travels around twice a quarter and would need one of you in the house whilst she is away.

candidate requirements

you must be an experienced domestic couple who are able to manage your day and one of has to be a driver. you both have to be very comfortable with dogs.

days of work, accommodation and salary

separate 2 bedroom detached cottage - large fenced garden – not suitable for young children but pets will be considered.

monday – friday role (unless principle is travelling- very rare)

normal working hours will be 8am -6pm unless principal is working late in london in which case this could be up to midnight. one person needs to be in the house until she arrives home.
