Chauffeur driver in cheshire & merseyside - united kingdom, wilmslow, cheshire
we are looking for a chauffeur to assist our busy client who runs multiple businesses. you will assist with the day to day activities and chauffeur the client between business premises and meetings.
the majority of driving will mainly be in cheshire and merseyside with occasional journeys to london where over night stay may be required and accommodation provided. a degree of flexibility is required to meet the client’s needs on some evenings/weekends.
a vehicle is provided which is a luxury executive mercedes s500 l.
you will need to be helpful, willing and punctual and be prepared to deal with a variety of tasks. you must dress in business attire and have a professional manner. the main attributes are trust, loyalty and commitment. to be considered for this exciting role you must be discreet and confidentiality is of upmost importance. you must be prepared to work extra load and long hours when called upon.
the role will be varied and you will need to be flexible and sometimes there may be unsociable hours, which will be compensated with time off in lieu. you may be called upon to assist in whatever role is required in conjunction with the client’s business activities. there may also be on occasion personal errands such as airport runs and school runs and ad hoc duties to perform in line with pa duties. in order to be successful the ideal candidate should have a calm and relaxing manner.
you will need:
clean drivers licence
abide by road regulations
effective time management and be well organised having an understanding of the client’s diary and commitments
familiar with vehicles and ensure it is road worthy, maintained and pristine
knowledge of gps navigation systems and selecting routes to provide the fastest but safe and comfortable journey for the client to arrive on time
good communication skills to assist client to communicate across their employees and business interests
assist loading and unloading the vehicle
deal with collections and deliveries as required
non-smoker
open doors for passengers and ensuring it is safe for them to leave the vehicle
