adecco is hiring immediately for an operations coordinator with a local client in newport news, va. the operations coordinator performs essential duties with pay starting at $19.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will receive, sort, and distribute email communications received from customers and internal associates, collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, coordinate the sales team by managing schedules and communicating relevant information daily, resolve complaints regarding service, and perform other duties as assigned.
responsibilities:
identify request type and regional information within an email, and then sort it to correct coordinated subfolder within the shared mailbox
categorize and label emails according to process pre-distribution, then task email to appropriate associate
keep communication on the distribution of emails internal, via sending confirmations of assignments
communicate with team leads and managers to identify the best process for a request when outside of typical identification notes
receive in and then apply schedule and note changes daily as they come in
utilize daily processes to continue to learn the ins and outs of the business group.
requirements:
1-2 years of administrative experience preferred
high school diploma or ged
must be 18+ years old
excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail
must have computer skills to include office 365
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
