we offer a full benefits package to all full-time employees including health, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid leave-time, company paid life insurance. in alignment with company vision, mission, values, and objectives, the cnc lathe operator/programmer produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (cnc) machine.

essential duties
· reads and interprets blueprint designs of the product to be manufactured and sets machine to produce product/components to customer specification.

· verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.

· makes mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements.

· periodically checks cnc machine to ensure tooling is inspected.

· maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

· maintains equipment through preventative maintenance; following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

other duties and responsibilities
· follows all safety policies, procedures and programs; is responsible for individual safety and the safety of others.

· establishes and maintains company housekeeping standards.

· abides by the policies, procedures and work rules established by the plant.

minimum knowledge and skills required
· high school diploma or ged.

· ability to read technical manuals/blueprints/drawings

· methodical/analytical problem solving skills, and strong mechanical aptitude.

· strong organizational/follow-up skills; attention to detail

· ability to work well with limited supervision.

· professional presentation and attitude

· 3-5 years programming experience
