an exciting opportunity has arisen at leighton buzzard cmht for a band 4 community support worker. this role is vital in the support of the care coordinators in providing holistic care. we encourage you to apply for this great development opportunity. you are welcome to come and meet the team prior to your interview. the team is based in leighton buzzard which covers leighton buzzard, linslade and the surrounding villages.
our teams core hours are monday - friday 9am - 5pm. however, we are currently piloting enhanced hours as a quality improvement project. our enhanced pilot hours are 5pm 7.30pm monday friday and 9am 5pm on saturdays. one of the benefits is showing flexibility for staff working hours. the team members are under no obligation to work the enhanced hours during the pilot. the services are also in the middle of a service transformation, which is an exciting time, as we are exploring how we can further develop the service we provide, meeting the needs of our local community. we also operate a duty clinician system responding to those who require support in a crisis. our team provides assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation of those with a moderate to severe mental health diagnosis for ages between 18 to 65 (up to 70 if already open to the team).
