Driver/house keeper couple job needed for estate in ropley ( east hampshire) - united kingdom, eastleigh, hampshire

experienced, full-time, live in domestic team of 2 required to partner with our existing domestic couple and work with other household team members including a house manager, chef, nanny and 4 gardeners.

the family consists of 2 principals and they have 4 children between 9 and 16. the property is used for weekends, holidays and during christmas.

between the two of you, the following responsibilities would be shared:

heavy housekeeping such as changing lightbulbs, changing plugs and cleaning internal windows

cleaning outside areas/furniture

serving the family both informal & formal dinner settings

driving the principals when required

assisting with overseeing the contractors

daily housekeeping

wardrobe management

washing, laundry and ironing to a high standard

checking stock levels for housekeeping supplies

assisting the chef with washing up, preparing light snacks, juices and smoothies

cleaning and assisting with a special collection of cars (vintage and supercars)

ad hoc tasks and errands as required

willing to learn and be trained. this is a position for 2 people that will work well in small team, and who both take pride in their work.

you’ll both be hardworking, like to produce results, hands on, good eye for detail, diligent and reliable.

able to follow instructions and use your initiative, and are people who like to contribute - striving for perfection.

a good level of both written and spoken english is essential, one of you must be a very confident driver. dbs check will be required.

accommodation: 1 bedroom split level accommodation away from the main house.

monday - 8:00 - 16:30

tuesday - 8:00 - 16:30

friday - 10:30 - 21:30

saturday - 13:00 - 22:30

sunday - 12:00 - 21:00
